MagicTeam's Jeoffrey De Prins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Davus in the 2nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, KFC Paal-Tervant's William Huijghens got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Freddy Tilens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Rosati in the 4th minute. Jeoffrey De Prins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yücel Yamaç in the 5th minute of play. KFC Paal-Tervant's Freddy Tilens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lieven Demarrez in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaun McLae in the 18th minute of play forced MagicTeam's goalkeeper Jeoffrey De Prins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, MagicTeam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Hop to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brecht Ablij in the 21st minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, MagicTeam's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Verschelde came free, but Jeoffrey De Prins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When KFC Paal-Tervant's Leandro da Fonseca in 24 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jeoffrey De Prins guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Jeoffrey De Prins came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Paal-Tervant's Jose Verschelde. But to his dismay, Jose Verschelde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Freddy Tilens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eugenio Rosati showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. With a little luck, KFC Paal-Tervant's Freddy Tilens got control of the ball when Brecht Ablij tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, MagicTeam's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Davus came free, but Jeoffrey De Prins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Shaun McLae's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeoffrey De Prins was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Shaun McLae sped through MagicTeam's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeoffrey De Prins. Eugenio Rosati recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeoffrey De Prins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yücel Yamaç in the 44th minute of play. Eugenio Rosati came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Freddy Tilens could save by the left post. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 55 minutes, Klemens Huffschmid mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Paal-Tervant and the MagicTeam players grew even worse after the yellow card. MagicTeam's Juan Manuel Rosas was substituted for Brecht Ablij. Klemens Huffschmid hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Jan Hop, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, MagicTeam's Herald Delamenin got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, MagicTeam's Jeoffrey De Prins got control of the ball when Shaun McLae tried to sneak it across the goal line. Freddy Tilens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Rosati in the 64th minute of play. MagicTeam were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after KFC Paal-Tervant's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Santo Lidon took the corner. When Ray Kindermans got free in front of the goal in the 93rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Freddy Tilens was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ray Kindermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. KFC Paal-Tervant's Freddy Tilens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ray Kindermans in the 95th minute of play. The KFC Paal-Tervant supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KFC Paal-Tervant would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
