With his leg Mihnea Crăcană managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when HaYhuY's Constantin Necula fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Valentin Stolniceanu came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the HaYhuY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Stolniceanu couldn't finish the play. When Mihăiţă Brânzeu fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HaYhuY's protests and gave Mihăiţă Brânzeu a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes HaYhuY got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Brânzeu. When TRICOLORUL's Vlad Coșereanu in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HaYhuY's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastian Tilincă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Balint having to interfere. TRICOLORUL's Mihnea Crăcană played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Stolniceanu in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, TRICOLORUL's goalkeeper Mihnea Crăcană had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantin Necula. In the 32nd minute Sebastian Tilincă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Balint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Coșereanu in the 40th minute of play forced HaYhuY's goalkeeper Răzvan Balint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Nicea kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Cristian Dragușin missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 43 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Răzvan Balint right hand side. Mihnea Crăcană took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Stolniceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Valentin Stolniceanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HaYhuY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TRICOLORUL the free kick. A collision led to HaYhuY getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Valentin Stolniceanu hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Valentin Stolniceanu made the kick off in the second half. Valentin Stolniceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mihnea Crăcană tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vlad Coșereanu struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Răzvan Balint didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TRICOLORUL. Vlad Coșereanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Răzvan Balint read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Coșereanu in the 62nd minute of play forced HaYhuY's goalkeeper Răzvan Balint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Constantin Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Răzvan Balint successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, HaYhuY's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Patrichi came free, but Răzvan Balint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The TRICOLORUL supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TRICOLORUL would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
