The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Plesa's goalkeeper Avram Ghișe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Iliescu. In the 5th minute Octav Tarcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Otețea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavril Otețea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Cristoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liviu Cristoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Sergiu Blăniță could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Avram Ghișe however easily saved by the left post. Octav Tarcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Plesa's Petruț Miniș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavril Otețea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Masterand Team's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Cristoiu came free, but Gavril Otețea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorel Cucerdean kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Emanuel Huștea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Avram Ghișe made a huge save. Octav Tarcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liviu Cristoiu struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Gavril Otețea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plesa. When Plesa's Octav Tarcu in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Masterand Team's goalie prevented a goal. Plesa's Avram Ghișe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Cârnu in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mugurel Șipoș in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavril Otețea saved Masterand Team from getting behind. When Liviu Cristoiu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Plesa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Cristoiu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Tarcu in the 39th minute of play forced Masterand Team's goalkeeper Gavril Otețea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavril Otețea came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Plesa's Petruț Miniș. But to his dismay, Petruț Miniș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Petruț Miniș struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Gavril Otețea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plesa. After having played for 45 minutes, Petruț Miniș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plesa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petruț Miniș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Masterand Team's Gavril Otețea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petruț Miniș in the 47th minute of play. Plesa were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Masterand Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Octav Tarcu took the corner. Octav Tarcu made a great header on Plesa's corner, it was just that Masterand Team's Gavril Otețea managed to reach the ball for a save.

Liviu Cristoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Gavril Otețea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Masterand Team's Gavril Otețea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Cristoiu in the 59th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Octav Tarcu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gavril Otețea. That made the score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Plesa's Octav Tarcu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gavril Otețea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. With his leg Gavril Otețea managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Plesa's Liviu Cristoiu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Crușeveanu in the 74th minute of play forced Plesa's goalkeeper Avram Ghișe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Masterand Team's goalkeeper Gavril Otețea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gavril Otețea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avram Sorin went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With his leg Gavril Otețea managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Plesa's Petruț Miniș fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 86 minutes into the match, Plesa's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Iliescu came free, but Avram Ghișe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Masterand Team's Gavril Otețea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Tarcu in the 88th minute of play. Gavril Otețea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petruț Miniș in the 89th minute. Emanuel Huștea shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Avram Ghișe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Crușeveanu in the 94th minute of the match. Liviu Cristoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gavril Otețea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Panait Gavruță left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plesa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Plesa played a much better game than Masterand Team and deserved their victory. The Masterand Team players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
