Robert Brădescu charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Brădescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mihail Lăzan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Mihăiţă Brânzeu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Manuel Baciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Balint having to interfere. Răzvan Balint stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Răzvan Spirea's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Liberty FC's Ernest Bondrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Stolniceanu in the 26th minute of play. Răzvan Balint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Baciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Baciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Balint having to interfere. Răzvan Spirea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Balint having to interfere. Răzvan Balint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Itoafă in the 48th minute of play.

A collision led to HaYhuY getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Claudiu Mihăilescu hit a great ball. Răzvan Spirea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Răzvan Balint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Răzvan Spirea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liberty FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Răzvan Spirea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Baciu struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Răzvan Balint didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liberty FC. If Răzvan Spirea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Liberty FC's Manuel Baciu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Răzvan Balint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Răzvan Spirea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Baciu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Răzvan Balint having to make a save. 81 minutes into the match, HaYhuY's goalkeeper Răzvan Balint had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Răzvan Spirea. After a defensive mix-up in HaYhuY's zone, Valeriu Dijmărescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Răzvan Balint came out of the goal and Valeriu Dijmărescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Liberty FC booed when HaYhuY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Domnescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Spirea in the 91st minute of play forced HaYhuY's goalkeeper Răzvan Balint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Baciu got free with Răzvan Balint in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Baciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Răzvan Balint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liberty FC played a much better game than HaYhuY and deserved their victory. The HaYhuY players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
