If Rafael Maria Píriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 15 minutes, Wieslaw Marud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Carlsberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wieslaw Marud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wieslaw Marud might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brun O'Down. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wieslaw Marud ran back to his position shaking his head. FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wieslaw Marud in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Maria Píriz in the 19th minute of play forced FC Carlsberg's goalkeeper James Novak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wieslaw Marud got free with Brun O'Down in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tudor Greavu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wieslaw Marud in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brun O'Down prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brun O'Down made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Marud in the 31st minute of play. FC Carlsberg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gavril Sichitiu in the 34th minute. The corner led FC Carlsberg's Gavril Sichitiu to fire away a dangerous shot which Brun O'Down despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. FC Carlsberg's James Novak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Maria Píriz in the 41st minute of play. Brun O'Down took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wieslaw Marud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Carlsberg booed when FC BaLiSt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Jianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Maria Píriz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but James Novak made a huge save. 77 minutes into the match, FC Carlsberg's Wieslaw Marud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brun O'Down narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
