In the 10thth minute of the game Pankracy Siwy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Schmeichel was a little too slow when Zhao Sen Yang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Wielopolski in the 17th minute of play forced GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Ruskov in the 20th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Diki Doro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Pankracy Siwy notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro. Diki Doro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A nice corner shot did that Mugurel Pandele got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Peter Schmeichel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Peter Schmeichel got control of the ball when Zhao Sen Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Primitivo Grau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Peter Schmeichel made a huge save. Peter Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Wielopolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulino Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Stasio Bienienda tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zhao Sen Yang made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Grau in the 54th minute of play forced GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Emil Wielopolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Schmeichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Emil Wielopolski came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Wielopolski couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Zhao Sen Yang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Schmeichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Viorel Leu was substituted for Marko Ruskov. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Grau in the 65th minute of the match. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Răcănel in the 75th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Răcănel came free, but Diki Doro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pankracy Siwy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diki Doro came out and tried to block the shot, but Pankracy Siwy slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 77th minute. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Cătălin Tudoran replaced İlhami Akyazıcı. Diki Doro made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Viorel Leu sent off a good shot on target. Peter Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Grau, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Pandele came free, but Peter Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Paulino Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diki Doro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Paulino Marin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diki Doro. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Marin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3.
