In the 6th minute, Louis Stratakos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Veniamin Michailidis. The goal made the score 1-0. Veniamin Michailidis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alexis Stergalas. After 11 played minutes Kipouroi FC got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Zigouris. After having played for 11 minutes, Akis Xomeritakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARION F.C. Lesvos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akis Xomeritakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Veniamin Michailidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akis Xomeritakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Louis Stratakos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Veniamin Michailidis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 18th minute ARION F.C. Lesvos were awarded a corner. Giannis Siamantouras went to the cornerflag to take it. Veniamin Michailidis made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Louis Stratakos sent off a good shot on target. Veniamin Michailidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akis Xomeritakis in the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, ARION F.C. Lesvos's goal looked a bit too open when Stelios Tavoularis came free, but Vaios Spetzopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Benito Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Stratakos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Veniamin Michailidis having to make a save. After some careless play in the Kipouroi FC defense, Akis Xomeritakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Veniamin Michailidis. The Kipouroi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Veniamin Michailidis should have stopped the shot.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Louis Stratakos made a kick off. In the 55th minute Louis Stratakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veniamin Michailidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Louis Stratakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Bento struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Vaios Spetzopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kipouroi FC.
