If Apamanyu Murthy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Lowestoft FC's Abhrottha Khaira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guntas Dube. Guntas Dube yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Apamanyu Murthy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lowestoft FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Apamanyu Murthy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guntas Dube breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guntas Dube took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abhrottha Khaira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41stth minute of the game Abhrottha Khaira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Swinton's Guntas Dube was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apamanyu Murthy got free with Guntas Dube in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Swinton's goalkeeper Guntas Dube, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lowestoft FC's Agnisinha Dutt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teju Chaddha in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

A collision led to Swinton getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jayalakshm Pujari hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Lowestoft FC's Harstia Agroia tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ujjalroop Nayyar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guntas Dube. Swinton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Apamanyu Murthy took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guntas Dube. Guntas Dube dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 65 minutes into the match, Abhrottha Khaira notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Swinton's Guntas Dube. Guntas Dube was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Lowestoft FC's Apamanyu Murthy got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Abhrottha Khaira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guntas Dube was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Lakshmani Siddhu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Guntas Dube tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Swinton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jayalakshm Pujari to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Swinton's goal looked a bit too open when Apamanyu Murthy came free, but Guntas Dube reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abhrottha Khaira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lowestoft FC had played much better football throughout.
