Khanakorn Charoenmas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pit Sanghirun in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chiang Mai Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pit Sanghirun was slow to take the kick. During this time Bilbao Baggins's players had a chance to rest. Pit Sanghirun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Khanakorn Charoenmas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Monchai Sirirattanothai during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Bilbao Baggins got a freekick which was hit by Monchai Sirirattanothai. 23 minutes into the match, Bilbao Baggins's goal looked a bit too open when Benjaphon Yutisee came free, but Gideon Faturrahman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 27 in the game by Napapon Nasoongnearn from a close distance when the talented Khanakorn Charoenmas managed to make a qualified save. Chiang Mai Football Club's players were relieved. 28 minutes into the match, Chiang Mai Football Club's goalkeeper Khanakorn Charoenmas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phuttaphan Maneerat. After 31 minutes, Napapon Nasoongnearn made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chiang Mai Football Club's Khanakorn Charoenmas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute of the match, Pit Sanghirun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Khanakorn Charoenmas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aran Pookpan took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khanakorn Charoenmas. Khanakorn Charoenmas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 54thth minute of the game Napapon Nasoongnearn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chiang Mai Football Club's Khanakorn Charoenmas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Khanakorn Charoenmas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Aas in the 63rd minute of the match. Bilbao Baggins's Issares Sinprasertwong was substituted for Kevin Aas. After a rather tough play, Bilbao Baggins's Monchai Sirirattanothai got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Kasidit Pantasen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Napapon Nasoongnearn in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khanakorn Charoenmas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Khanakorn Charoenmas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pit Sanghirun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Bilbao Baggins's Pit Sanghirun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khanakorn Charoenmas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Chiang Mai Football Club's zone, Napapon Nasoongnearn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khanakorn Charoenmas came out of the goal and Napapon Nasoongnearn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Phuttaphan Maneerat kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Bilbao Baggins made a substitution. Khunakorn Chasuwan replaced Napapon Nasoongnearn. In the 88th minute, Phuttaphan Maneerat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khunakorn Chasuwan might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khanakorn Charoenmas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Khunakorn Chasuwan ran back to his position shaking his head. Bilbao Baggins walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
