In the 3rd minute of the match, Cosimo Morelli got a very nice opportunity to score, but Killian Armada was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Walmarsson in the 5th minute of play forced Farang FC's goalkeeper Marcus Karlstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Koronis Corona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Karlstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per Walmarsson went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Koronis Corona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Karlstedt was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Marcus Karlstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Koronis Corona's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Farang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Koronis Corona came free, but Marcus Karlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Farang FC booed when Hua Hin City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tacito Maldonado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosimo Morelli made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 20thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Killian Armada would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Marcus Karlstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sophon Weerasakulthong, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Sorasak Mapinta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Killian Armada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Per Walmarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Karlstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Koronis Corona made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Karlstedt. Farang FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Morelli got free with Killian Armada in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute Ragnar Hammarström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Killian Armada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Koronis Corona was the one to do the kick off. Koronis Corona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Marcus Karlstedt made a huge save. In the 52nd match minute, Hua Hin City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by James Rodriguez to maneuver through the defense. Ragnar Hammarström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Killian Armada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hua Hin City's Killian Armada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Morelli in the 58th minute of play. Marcus Karlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koronis Corona in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Farang FC got a freekick which was hit by Teera Boonyonk. Marcus Karlstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koronis Corona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Ragnar Hammarström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Per Walmarsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hua Hin City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Marcus Karlstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koronis Corona in the 73rd minute. Per Walmarsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Karlstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per Walmarsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute, James Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Killian Armada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Morelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koronis Corona in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Karlstedt saved Farang FC from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hua Hin City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
