Putra Rewulu's Hugo Orlando Urbina couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bandung Tigers. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 9th minute of play forced Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Amran Suhaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Alberto Suárez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper Mekki Item, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mekki Item came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Putra Rewulu's Luis Alberto Suárez. But to his dismay, Luis Alberto Suárez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Amran Suhaya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Putra Rewulu's Uci Pakasi got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper Mekki Item had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Alberto Suárez. Amran Suhaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zulkarnaen Mandaga's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Zulkarnaen Mandaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Putra Rewulu's Amran Suhaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Putra Rewulu getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dino Colonna hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Putra Rewulu's Oscar Munio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Amran Suhaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Luis Alberto Suárez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mekki Item saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mekki Item showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Alberto Suárez, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Bandung Tigers's Nistor Popilean was substituted for Wang Zheng Yun. In the 67th match minute, Putra Rewulu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorotheos Macheritsas to maneuver through the defense. Bandung Tigers's Nistor Popilean got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zulkarnaen Mandaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 74 minutes, Zulkarnaen Mandaga made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Putra Rewulu's Amran Suhaya tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 79th minute of play forced Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Amran Suhaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Putra Rewulu's Amran Suhaya got control of the ball when Nistor Popilean tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Nistor Popilean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amran Suhaya. Putra Rewulu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nistor Popilean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Luis Alberto Suárez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bandung Tigers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
